Choosing The Laptop That Is Right For You
Laptop Class 1:
Our smallest, most compact, and consequently least powerful laptop is given the moniker of Aegis. In terms of performance, you probably won't be setting and records on a Aegis notebook from Vigor Gaming. What you will be doing, however, is chugging along at acceptable frame rates in all the latest games thanks to AMD's Turion 64 mobile technology and the mid-range graphics cards that come with the Aegis' stock configuration. The Aegis series of laptops will allow you to get your fragging fix in between classes, on the way to work, at work, on the way home from workˇK you get the idea. The Aegis is the ideal solution for customers who are not looking to break the bank, but still want impressive performance in a mobile package.

Laptop Class 2:
Ares is but a small step above Aegis in terms of performance. Ares is an Intel based laptop that runs on a Dothan based Pentium-M processor. The Pentium-M series is slightly superior to AMD's Turion 64 in terms of power consumption, so if battery life is a big concern for you, the Ares is a good way to go. Most of the rest of the components are equal in performance to the Aegis series, and the form factor of the Ares is only a slight bit greater. At stock configuration, the Ares will provide you with endless gaming enjoyment in a small package. Upgraded, the Ares will make you wonder how so much can come out of something so little. Whatever the scenario, the Ares is a capable machine that will let you do just about anything you want.s is an ideal option.

Laptop Class 3:
The Artorius is probably the best example of a dual-personality laptop in our lineup. By day, the Artorius sports a professional-looking shell and performance that will make your co-workers jealous. By night, the Artorius is a series gaming machine. The Artorius Pro sports one of the single fastest mobile video cards available. Both models support Intel processors up to the Core 2 Duo T7600, which at 2.33GHz is the fastest mobile processor currently available. Intel's mobile Core 2 family of processors, known as Merom in the enthusiast world, has allowed laptop processing performance to go toe to toe with desktops for the first time sinceˇKever. Kept stock or upgraded, this 17" notebook is a powerhouse capable of delivering serious gaming performance and productivity while still technically being considered mobile.

Laptop Class 4:
The term "Desktop Replacement" is frequently uttered when discussion of high-performance laptops is abound. Our Augustus Series of laptops is perhaps the quintessential desktop replacement. Why? We put desktop processors in it. These processors from AMD use more power and create more heat, but offer significantly greater performance than their mobile counterparts. As such, Augustus can be considered our "bulkiest" rig in terms of depth, as it needs to be a bit larger than the others to adequately dissipate the heat generated from the desktop processor ˇV something that it does quite well. The Augustus also offers three different levels of high-performance mobile graphics chips from NVIDIA. Depending on how badly you want get out on killing fields and get your frag on, you can scale your laptop's performance pretty significantly. The other benefit of desktop processors besides their superior performance, and in our mind the best characteristic of the Augustus, is that they are cheaper. Because of this, we can offer the Augustus at an extremely low price. For users that are not overwhelmingly concerned with mobility and desire desktop level performance, Augustus should be the mechanism of choice.

Laptop Class 5:
If you're a sports fan, you have probably noticed that there are certain teams in whatever league you're interested in that always come out on top. Vigor has one of those teams, only, its not really a team at all, it's a laptop. Named after the legendary lost world of Atlantis, our top tier notebook PC is such a behemoth that we often strain ourselves to find the right words to describe it. As the industry's first true 20" laptop (yes, the screen is 20" and yes, 20" is big) the Atlantis is capable of delivering performance equal to or exceeding that of some of the fastest desktops on the market. Not only will you be able to compete with your friends on the Atlantis, you will probably be able to see them better thanks to the astounding clarity of the 20" display. We make countless configurations available to the customer so they can get their laptop set up just the way they would like it. We even offer an option for professionals with dual Quadro FX 2500M GTX graphics cards that provide unparalleled rendering and production capabilities. Being 20" comes with the burden of weighing quite a lot, and as such the Atlantis is probably more suited as a desktop replacement PC than a portable laptop, but bringing it around with you is certainly not out of the question. Whether you are a hardcore gamer that travels to LAN events, or a business professional looking for the best laptop money can buy, the Atlantis will get the job done. You can count on that.
