Desktops:
Since the dawn of computing, the biggest, fastest, and overall most powerful computers have been desktops. Well, to be fair, the very first computers were basically rooms with lots of circuits and fancy knobs and buttons and guys in lab coats, but more recently, in the gaming era at least, desktops are the prevalent form factor for fast, powerful computers. Customers that are more likely to prefer a desktop over a laptop are those that are looking for a computer for their home and have very little intention of moving it around on any kind of regular basis. These customers might also be looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST possible performance that modern computing technology can offer. Our desktops are catered towards a group of people we like to call "power users". While this term has been defined in many ways by many people, we like to think of a power user as someone who uses their computer for more than just creating word documents, spreadsheets, and surfing the web. In our mind, Gamers are the quintessential power users. For customers that are gamers on the casual, amateur, intermediate, or professional levels, a desktop with a beefy video card, processor, and loads of RAM is probably the best choice.

Laptops:
While using the words "gaming" and "laptop" in the same sentence was once considered taboo, untold amounts of engineers have been working over the past few years to make gaming on laptops a possibility. With technologies allowing for greater heat dissipation, less heat production, and lower power consumption, desktop-grade parts are beginning to be adapted into laptop form factors and shipped in our high-performance gaming laptops. While you will probably never be able to achieve true desktop-level performance with a laptop, you can get pretty darn close. The most important benefit of a laptop is that you can stand up, and walk away with it relatively easily. Laptops weigh far less than desktops, are nowhere near as bulky, and typically have cases that allow you carry them away with ease. This makes laptops the ideal solution for customers with high-mobility lifestyles, or perhaps gamers that often travel to BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN events. Due to their space saving characteristics and high portability level, laptops might be a good choice for users who are seeking a higher education in college but still feel the need to "get their frag on" from time to time. Laptop sizes range from tiny, to sensible, and all the way to ridiculously huge (but insanely powerful).
