Vigor's Quadfather Uses AMD Quad FX CPUs

Introduction

Several months after AMD released its Quad FX twin dual-core processor solutions, the hype and fanfare are largely absent. The big move that was to put AMD back on top was quickly squashed by Intel's single-socket quad-core solutions. AMD's price-lowering response has lead several builders to continue supporting the "4x4" platform as a potentially better-value high-end solution, with the secondary benefit of appeasing the AMD faithful.

The Quadfather mural is a sure-fire conversation starter at LAN parties.

The Vigor Force Recon QX4's Thermaltake Armor chassis gives the system a similar appearance to that of AMD's Quad FX reference system, but many internal parts have been updated or otherwise improved to deliver the ultimate gaming and multitasking experience.
